As many of you know, we have been living in our own little limbo for the past year not knowing whether we are moving to Rhode Island or staying in Chicago for another year. Mike has been on interviews that all seemed to be filled internally, and I have had a hard time finding anything available in my field. We have also had little luck with our condo being on the market, which isn't a surprise considering the housing market these days. Although these things could get some people down, Mike and I have been truely going with the flow and enjoying summer in Chicago. It is kind of fun doing things and thinking, "this could be our last time doing... here in Chicago." However, we still keep the goal of moving east in the back of our minds, ok really more in the front. Ok, so it's really all we think, eat, sleep, dream, talk about, but still, we are leaving it in God's hands.
So as we fly to Rhode Island today we ask our friends and family to pray for us. Please pray for Mike and his second interviews with two different schools, that we find the house of our dreams while meeting with our realtor, and that we have a safe trip. Oh, and that while we are away, someone makes an offer on our condo that we can't refuse. A tall order, I know, but I have faith that it will all fall into place, whether it be this summer or sometime in the future. We would truely be happy either way because we are blessed with loved ones wherever we are.

Sunset at Diamond Lake over the weekend.
