Food, family, and fun, it doesn't get any better than that especially on Easter. Today Aunt Bev, Aunt Barbara, Uncle Larry, and Carissa came from South Bend for Easter dinner. It was so nice to see all of them and spend some time together.
Aunt Barbara and Owen had fun drawing portraits of eachother on the chalkboard wall. When Owen was done with his he decided to help Aunt Barbara finish her drawing of him.
Then it was time to eat! Too bad we didn't remember to get any pictures of the wonderful food and table setting until it was too late...

Then it was time for an Easter egg "hunt".
Carissa and Diesel helped Owen fill his basket.
Before they headed off back to South Bend we decided to all go for a walk. Owen showed them how he has been pushing his little "lawn mower" down the block and back the past week.
After everyone left, Owen decided it was time to show off his walking skills, which he has been practicing by taking three or four steps here and there. This time he walked across the entire family room to show me something, and it was amazing. He didn't hesitate for a second and Mike and I were so excited.
Thank you God for this Easter, our family and friends, and our little walker!
