Teagan still isn't walking completely on her own, but she gets closer every day. She is very funny actually. She would walk for blocks holding onto your hand or finger ever so lightly (really not using you for balance at all), but as soon as you let go she stops and then drops to the floor. She really doesn't like to stand on her own for too long either. So I was surprised when I got the picture below. She does think it is a lot of fun to practice walking {or running rather} from one person to another. Owen loves this game too saying, "come to 'bra' baby T, you can do it!" He also has a very proud look on his face when it is his hand she is holding on to.

While we were waiting for our feast to be ready to eat, Grumpa gave Teagan her special birthday present. He made her a beautiful cradle out of solid cherry wood. Mimi gave her a birthday doll, and Teagan couldn't have been more excited about both of them together. She LOVES dolls and right away knew to put the doll in the cradle and rocked it. Great job Grumpa once again!!!!

Great Grammy Helen made bedding for the cradle and Owen thought it was funny to try and use it for himself.

Teagan was hilarious with the doll. First she gave it some lovin', then she danced with it as it played Happy Birthday (it lights up in the cheeks too), then she ever so lovingly threw it to the ground and proceeded to do what looked like chest compressions for CPR. Oh the joys of having an older brother from which one can learn how to play.

After our delicious meal, Owen and I went outside to play and "gather wood for the wood stove". Owen of course needed his tractor to do this.

Moonbeam and Pilot

Mimi, Teagan, and Great Grammy Helen relaxing after dinner.

We gave Teagan some pumpkin pie for her birthday desert.

No, that isn't a dinner role in her hand, that's her pie!

Teagan is wearing a little velvet dress with gold trim that was mine when I was little. Yes, again I know you can't believe how much my mom has saved of mine. Just wait until you see her Christmas dress!

We headed over to Auntie and Uncle's to say hello and finally meet baby Emilia Rose. She is adorable!

Proud parents!

Giving her new babydoll some more kisses before going to bed on her birthday.

We couldn't have asked for a better Thanksgiving, and what more could we be thankful for than our little birthday girl!
