Sewing Project #1

I was inspired by a cloth block that I found at my parents' house that my Grandma Betty Lou had made, and I wanted to make something special for Keira Lawler when she was born, so I gave it a try. Here is the finished product...


Her initials, K and L are on two sides.


The number 27, for the day she was born, is on top.

Then the other sides all have things that start with the letter K.

It was definitely another project made with love, kind of like my "pretty cakes", but I am still happy with how it turned out. And my sewing skills can only get better with practice!
