Our Trip to Florida... Surprise!

We decided to surprise my sister Karen and flew down to Florida for Riley's 3rd birthday! Plus we had never met baby Aidan. We had such a great time! Thanks Nana and Papa for the tickets! Here are some pics from the trip...


Here is a picture of Nana's helping hand in getting Owen ready for bed after a long day of flying. (Yes, that is a disposable diaper. After a long debate we decided not to risk having all of our cloth diapers lost if the luggage went missing. We'll see what happens on our next trip.)

Aunt Bev flew down with us for the big surprise. She was such a great help and we had so much fun! Thanks Aunt Bev! Here she is with Riley while we waited for a table out to eat.

Aunt Debbie drove up from Key West to hang out and celebrate Riley's birthday. It was so nice to see her!


Owen loved playing with his cousins. It was interesting to see him interact with Aidan, 4 months, and Riley, now 3 years old.

(Actually, he has been to the beach at Lake Michigan many times and he saw the ocean while in Sweden, but this was his first trip to the ocean in the US.)

Uncle Tommy also came over to spend some time with us. Owen had so much fun watching the waves and getting splashed by them.
