Wedding on the Cape

Two weekends ago we went to Mike and Sarah's wedding on Cape Cod Island. Rather than everyone trying to find hotel rooms for the night, we decided to rent a 15 passenger van and have the pregnant lady {Me} be the designated driver. I was a little hesitant because it was pretty big and the steering wheel was a little unruly. Thankfully though, Deardorf doesn't drink and decided to join our van of fun, making him the DD. We all had a lot of fun as you can see from the pictures.

The wedding was short, sweet, and simple elegance. Just before the ceremony started a fog rolled in making a beautiful back-drop.

The Crew! This is Mike's core group of friends from high school. This wasn't the first time they/we have all been together over the years, but it was definitely fun to see them all at this stage of our lives; working on careers, most married, and starting families.

The reception was a lobster bake, which of course I loved! At each place setting was an apron with a bride and groom lobster on it. Very cute.

This was Cindy's first time ever having a whole lobster that she had to break apart herself. It was pretty funny.



The night was filled with stories from over the years and talk of the future. It doesn't get any better than that!
