School's Out for Summer!!!!

Mike is officially done with school and summer vacation begins. This was a strange celebration because it could be his last year teaching at Todd Hall, a school where he loves working. We still don't know what our immediate future holds for us; whether or not we will be moving east or staying in Chi-town for one more year. Either way we will be happy. We love Chicago, but know that Rhode Island is where we will eventually raise our family.
And Chicago in the summer is a beautiful thing...




On Thursday we headed up to Diamond Lake to visit Nana and Papa. We can do that now that school is out! We love the lake. It is so peaceful yet entertaining.






Owen kept looking up so I did too.

Nana and Papa took us to this new farmers market in Elkhart. It is called American Countryside Farmers Market and it is an incredible structure built buy the Amish.
